We are excited as we look forward to working with the students and families. Each child is very special, and we value this precious opportunity to be a part of the children's lives.  The school is committed to providing each child with effective learning experiences, which will provide the foundation for life long learning.

Hickman Elementary School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Council on Accreditation and School Improvement.  The school has also met the requirements of No Child Left Behind and continues to be a school in Good Standing.

All certificated teachers are creative and highly qualified in areas of their teaching assignments.  The support staff members of educational assistants, custodians, food service personel, office personnel, and bus drivers  are dedicated to providing the services to enable each child be safe and successful. As a team we are passionate about enabling children experience the power of learning.

The work of the school is supported by devoted PTA members, YMCA Fun Company, Pencil Partners, and community volunteers.
