We are excited to work with the students and families. Each child is very special, and we value this opportunity to be a part of the children's lives. The school is committed to providing each child with effective learning experiences, which will provide the foundation for life long learning. Hickman Elementary School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. It has also consistently met the requirements of No Child Left Behind and is a school in Good Standing. The school receives Title I funds to enhance learning opportunities for students. The staff members are creative and highly qualified. The work of the school is supported by devoted PTA members.
The school is organized into 29 classes and offers services from English Language Learners and Exceptional Education needs in the areas of Life skills and Communication and Behavior Intervention. Two additional blended Pre K classrooms provide services in the area of vision and life skills.
